The Optimist
Club of San
Leandro is a member of Optimist International.
What we
are:
A voluntary
organization of civic-minded men and women banded together for progressive thought and action in community service.
Members are motivated by the desire to contribute to their community.
Local members
meet twice a month for dinner meetings, which include club updates, fellowship, and an exchange of ideas. District and
international meetings provide additional camaraderie and networking.
The club is
governed by elected officers: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Sergeant at Arms, and a Board of Directors.
Various committees are assigned additional, specific duties to help the club run smoothly.
